Hi,

Is there a way to set up a time to receive the daily reminder emails??
I'm 8 hours a head, and i receive the reminder emails at noon.
How can I set them to be sent at early in the morning?

I have read a topic posted in 2004 about this issue in feature requests, and it was replied as -

"This is on the list for a future release. It sounds like a simple change, but I need to build a whole event manager to do this." Any succes yet?

Cheers;

The current work around is to set up a CRON job of your own to send the daily reminders when you'd like to receive them. Here is a service that does this if you don't have a server you'd prefer to use:

Sorry,  It does NOT work perfect...

I set the CRON job to send me the reminder at 4am everymorning.
It sends the reminder.

ie : I receive the reminder on 5/28. the subject part says : Daily Reminder: 05/28/2009

But the tasks in it appear as its still 5/27 ( as its still 5/27 at your server).
The tasks for 5/27 are seen as "due"
The tasks for 5/28 are seen as "upcoming" but actually its already 6/28.

I start the day at 6am, so I would like to get this reminder before 6am. and its still the previous day at your servers...

is there a way to fix this??
How can I receive a daily reminder at 6am with the correct date due's  ??

Thanks

Have you set your timezone offset in your Preferences?

Sounds like the emails don't account for that properly in this situation. We'll look into addressing that in the next release. I think the only option at this point would be to run your own installation so you can set it up on a server in the proper time zone for your team.

No, it will likely be a little while as we are working on some significant upgrades for the next version.
