My recurring tasks are not recurring.  I have the recur box checked, and frequency filled in, and an ending date filled in (though an ending date is not necessary in my case, the software requires it).  And I do have the option to use recurring tasks enabled in my Admin.  Am I missing something?

I believe tags will only recur when they are present when the recurrence is first created. This way you can add tags as needed (@next-actions, etc.) during the life of the task without having those applied to future recurrences of the task.

The sporadicness is the issue.  For already established tasks I started entering tags and clicked save.  However I believe some of the future recurrences don't show the tag.  Then I took an existing task and performed the same function and saved as new.  Again I believe some but not all the tags carried forward to the new recurrence.  I would prefer not to have to delete these tasks and start fresh.

I use task almost exclusively for recurring tasks and love the tag features.  However on some task (not all from what I can tell) tags are not renewing with the recurrence.  It almost sporadic but it is making the tag reports incomplete which is a problem unless I go back in and add a tag.  Any suggestions?

What happens if I don't pay my bill?

If you do not pay your bill within 14 days of your invoice being issued your account will be suspended.  At that time, you will not be able to login to your account and you will need to pay your bill for your account to get reactivated.

How am I notified that I need to pay my bill?

Use Tasks sends all notices and invoices to the email address that was used to sign up.

IMPORTANT: Use Tasks billing related emails will come from billing@austindev.com, please ensure that any SPAM filtering allows that address.

You will receive an email on the due date, then every 2 days, until your invoice is 7 days over due, then you will receive 2 notices, on the 3rd and 5th day, before account suspension.  Then finally you will receive an account suspension notice. 

It is your responsibility to get your "account holder" information up to date.  To get more information on how to update your billing / account information, please see this FAQ entry.

What happens to my data, will it be deleted?

Your data will remain intact for at least 3 months.

When will my service be re-activated after I pay?

Once your bill has been paid service will be restored within 10 minutes.

No, this is not necessary.

If you've looked at the installation instructions for Tasks Pro and Tasks, you may have seen reference to setting up CRON jobs. While you can choose to set up additional CRON jobs for these actions (activating recurring tasks, sending daily e-mail reminders, creating tasks from e-mails) if you want them to run at specific times, etc., this is not necessary.

The Use Tasks service runs CRON jobs for these functions for you.

If the Use Tasks server were ever to fail, we have a several levels of disaster recovery options. The most likely failure scenarios would have us back up and running within approximately 2 hours.

2.  All databases are also backed up nightly to a backup server for security in the event of a major hardware failure of the Use Tasks servers.

The Use Tasks service is normally updated to new releases of Tasks Pro and Tasks quickly once the releases are final. Traditionally, this has been about 1-2 weeks after the release. The delay is for 2 reasons:

1. To get new translations available (we have customers using several languages here).
2. To add the Use Tasks customizations (support for add-ons, show file upload space remaining, etc.)
3. To fix any bugs that have been reported following the release.

For major updates, all accounts must be taken offline for upgrades. We announce the downtime here in advance.
